used in Ayurvedic Medicine
Traditional
Ayurvedic Medicine makes good use of the gifts from the Rudraksha Tree to
treat many different diseases
It is believed that those who wear Rudrakhsa do not suffer from high
blood pressure and according to some physicians this fact bears mention
in Ayurvedic Medicine
Another treatment for high blood pressure is to place one to three 5
Mukhi Rudraksha in a glass of water before going to sleep at night and
then drinking in the morning on an empty stomach. The treatment lasts 30
days and the water needs to be in a water glass made of glass
When anyone suffers from small pox or chicken pox the treatment is to
rub the seed or fruit on a clean stone and the paste is given to the
patient to eat. This paste is also listed as a preventative treatment
for poxes
Another mention found in text. If a 10 Mukhi Rudraksha Bead is rubbed
with milk and its paste eaten then old cough is cured Six Mukhi
Rudraksha
is said to give relief from epilepsy and hysteria. There is also a
listing in text that if Four Mukhi Rudraksha is boiled in milk and
ingested daily for 20 days relief from brain diseases is expected.
Preparation and application methods seen here is Rudraksha Mala worn
around neck, Rudraksha Beads soaked in water, powder mixed with milk to
form a paste and then Rudraksha Beads boiled in Milk
